• Day Spa: the Spa offers a comprehensive range of treatments, starting with a personalized check-up providing a holistic view of the guest’s well being. Guests can choose between a natural or clinical approach scheduled to a daily or weekly timetable according to your wishes. The treatments combine well being, beauty, fitness and nutrition, individually tailored to meet personal need.

Things to do

• Arezzo, famous for its charming old city center where was filmed the Roberto Begnini’s Academy Award-winning film “La vita è bella”, its antiques fair (first week-end of each month) and the annual medieval festival called the Joust of the Saracens (the third Sunday of June and on the first Sunday of September)
• Many of Piero della Francesca’s works can be seen in the nearby town of Sansepolcro and you should not miss the village of Monterchi, where his famous pregnant Madonna can be seen in the village school
• Franciscan trails: The hermitage of La Verna, where St. Francis received the stigmata is a magical place
• Romanesque Churches: The territory around Anghiari boasts a number of very early parish churches. They were built during the early phases of christianisation in which baptism was a crucial element. The pievi remained for centuries the only places authorised to carry out baptisms
• The Castello dei Sorci, a rustic castle turned into restaurant serving very authentic food as for instance home made pasta.
• Cortona medioeval town with splendid views on the Trasimeno lake
• The Chiantishire with green, gentle hills covered with wide fields of vineyards and olive groves, small stone villages, characteristic parishes and countryside homes in stone
• Shopping: the famous factory outlet of Prada lies on the way to Florence
• Shopping: Anghiari is also the headquarter of one of Tuscany’s most interesting textile producers Bussatti, whith shops all over the world
